Power to the People

Date: 26/08/22

Here at Think Hire, we believe in putting the power in the hands of the people who need it. Dependable, reliable, environmental power that you can count on, utilising the latest renewables such as solar panel generators and hybrid systems. However, we know that pure power is not enough. That power has to be controlled and managed, with battery back-up that will last all night, without waking the neighbours when the generator kicks in.

To deliver the power you need, when you need it, we offer a choice of three battery operated generators for sale, with something for all sites and situations. From the SiteGrid X3 remote, off-grid, fully portable units, through the mid-sized SiteGrid X45, delivering 60-75kW, to the workhorse PowerCube 120 power plants, which can deliver almost 100kW and will run all night without needing to fire up the generator.

Let’s take a look at these three battery operated generator options in more detail:

SiteGrid X3What is it?

The SiteGrid X3 battery operated generator is a compact, self-contained power solution, built into a rugged, wheeled case. It is lightweight and portable, weighing in at just 25kg.

What is it designed for?

The X3 is designed for rapid, off-grid deployment, powering things like communications and battery operated tools in remote locations. It delivers short term power and can be recharged in just 6hours.

What can it do?

The X3 battery operated generator can deliver up to 3.6kW at maximum power from its L-ion battery, with silent operation for sensitive locations.

Think Hire Edge:

While it may be fully portable and suitable for even the most remote locations, the SiteGrid X3 battery operated generator can still benefit from Think Hire’s state of the art energy management systems, significantly reducing emissions and costs.

SiteGrid X45What is it?

The big brother of the X3, the SiteGrid X45 hybrid battery operated generator is a compact, three-phase power solution that’s far more efficient than using a generator on its own.

What is it designed for?

The X45 is designed for small to medium sites which require power for lighting, welfare and equipment charging. It can deliver power around the clock, without the need for 24hr generation.

What can it do?

The X45 battery operated generator can deliver up to 75kW at peak power, through a range of switches and sockets that can be adapted to meet the precise requirements of your site.

Think Hire Edge:

The Think Hire edge comes with the addition of an optional energy management unit or a Hybrid Energy Management System upgrade. These will manage power as efficiently as possible, shedding loads and ensuring the battery is fully charged as quiet times begin, to maximise battery power throughout the night.

PowerCube 120What is it?

The PowerCube 120 is a fully containerised battery operated generator solution, with a diesel generator, fuel tank and L-ion battery all built-in to a single, easy to position unit.

What is it designed for?

The PowerCube is designed for medium to large sites that need a simple, yet reliable power source 24/7. The hybrid design offers access to renewable energy, backed by a dependable diesel generator, giving you the very best of both worlds.

What can it do?

The PowerCube 120 battery operated generator can produce almost 96kW of power at significantly less cost than a traditional diesel generator, with lower emissions of CO2, NOx, SO2 & PM.

Think Hire Edge:

Remote energy management as standard cuts costs and extends the life of the unit, without compromising the reliability of the power supply. This can be achieved via a touchscreen on the unit or remotely via an online portal, offering maximum efficiency with minimum effort.
