Site Set-up Engineer  - Swindon

Think Hire is looking for a highly motivated Site Engineer with a strong all-round understanding of temporary site set-up. A background in either Generator Maintenance/Repair or Electrical Installation is needed with a willingness to put the customer first an essential. We predominantly supply Cabins and Power installations which have elements of both plumbing and electrical, so an understanding of general construction tasks would be beneficial. Travelling mainly around the South West and occasional support of Engineers in other areas means a Full Driving License is also needed. Being part of an on call rota would form part of the job role dealing with out of hours calls and monitoring of our in house monitoring system.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to read and understand Method Statements, Risk assessments.
• An understanding of health and safety in the workplace
• Knowledge of Temporary Sites or background in the Hired Plant Industry.
• Qualified electrician – Preferred but not essential
• Qualified Generator Fitter - Preferred but not essential
• Competent in the use of a Laptop
• 2 years Victron experience - Desirable

Experience

• Electrical: 2 years (preferred)
• Remote Working: 2 years (preferred)
• Generator Fitter: 2 years (preferred)
• Temporary welfare installation: 2 years (preferred)

Working Conditions
Please note that this position involves working onsite in commercial environments, requiring the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions. Some projects may require overtime or work during weekends/holidays.
