Sustainable Energy Takes Over the Heart of Manchester
Date: 13/11/25

Think Hire, a division of Think Energy Group, has transformed the heart of Manchester with a live pop-up installation at Spinningfields Square, right beside the iconic John Rylands Library.
On 13th November 2025, the company showcased its latest innovations in renewable and off-grid energy systems, including the new SiteGrid BESS range, designed to decarbonise construction and urban infrastructure operations.
From setup to delivery, this event was green at every stage:
- Powered entirely by zero-emission SiteGrid systems
- Delivered by the electric HGV fleet
- Operated with silent, carbon-free technology
The one-day showcase featured live training and product demonstrations of the SiteGrid X-Range, delivering silent, zero-carbon power outputs from 5 to 625kVA. These solutions show how Think Hire can help businesses and cities achieve their environmental and sustainability goals anywhere in the UK.
The event highlighted how mobile, zero-emission power can:
- Support infrastructure projects
- Reduce reliance on diesel
- Accelerate city-wide carbon reduction targets
Attendees also heard from Neil Richardson, CEO and Founder of Think Energy Group (recognised in 42 under 42 and LDC Top 50 Ambitious Business Leaders), who shared insights on the future of sustainable power and its role in building net-zero cities.
Thank you to everyone who joined us today in Spinningfields Square to see the future of clean energy!
