Think Hire Achieves Positive Planet Certified Bronze

Date: 08/04/26

Think Hire has been awarded the Positive Planet Certified Bronze accreditation, confirming our status as a verified, independently assessed business on the path to net zero.

Now in our second year of accreditation, the Bronze standard requires organisations to measure Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, demonstrate improved data quality, develop a formal Carbon Reduction Plan, and commit to a minimum 5% annual reduction in emissions. All evidence submitted was reviewed and verified by Positive Planet's sustainability team.

The accreditation reflects work already well underway. Our latest carbon reduction report shows a 28% decrease in Scope 1 and 2 emissions between the 2023/24 and 2024/25 financial years, driven primarily by our transition to an electric delivery fleet. For construction clients working towards net zero targets, that kind of verified, third-party data matters: it feeds directly into ESG reporting, supply chain audits, and project-level sustainability credentials.

Heath Mansell, Head of ESG at Think Hire, said: "We're proud to share that our latest carbon reduction report shows a measurable decrease of 28% in Scope 1 and 2 emissions between the 2023/24 and 2024/25 financial years. This progress has been largely driven by our transition to an electric fleet, an important step in reducing our direct emissions and reliance on fossil fuels. While there's still more to do, this milestone marks real progress in our journey to reduce our environmental footprint and contribute to a lower-carbon future."

As the construction sector faces growing pressure to demonstrate credible ESG performance and progress towards net zero construction targets, Think Hire's accreditation provides clients with confidence that their supply chain is pulling in the same direction.

Think Hire is committed to achieving net zero for Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2035, and net zero across all emissions, including Scope 3, by 2050.
