Next-Level Sustainable Power: Think Energy Group Mobilises Innovative Energy Solutions for Sisk Projects

Think Energy Group has delivered its latest portfolio of renewable off-grid energy innovations as part of its ongoing strategic partnership with John Sisk & Son, supporting the contractor’s ambition to drive carbon-neutral operations.

The mobilisation included delivery of:

  • Solartainer Versatile XL (110kVA / 96kWh) and Power Cube X190, our most powerful solar-hybrid generator to date, delivering peak power of 190kVA. These units allow seamless solar integration for uninterrupted, low-carbon operations.

  •  Hybrid battery systems: SiteGrid X45 and the new SiteGrid X100 BESS, which introduces high-capacity industrial battery storage to the SiteGrid range, expanding off-grid power capability for Sisk’s most demanding operations.

  • EMS (Energy Management System). These Smart Distribution Boards empower sites to optimise power usage and take full control of energy distribution, creating greener, more cost-efficient projects.

Barry Murphy, Plant Manager at Sisk, who led the deployment, commented:
“We’re excited to introduce the newest additions to the SISK Plant Power and Energy Management lineup, designed to drive on-site progress while reducing emissions and fuel consumption. Every unit is engineered to cut CO₂ and save fuel costs, helping build a more sustainable future.”

James Gabbott, Group CCO and Managing Director of Think Energy Products, a division of Think Energy Group, shared his perspective: "A huge thank you to Sisk for their commitment to innovation and sustainability. We are proud to celebrate our ongoing partnership and the launch of these products, which deliver lower emissions, greater efficiency, and a cleaner future for construction. The year ahead promises even more innovation as we continue working together to deliver smarter, greener power systems across Ireland.”

Think Energy Group solutions are engineered to deliver measurable carbon reduction, lower fuel expenditure and clean, dependable power at scale, enabling Sisk to build with sustainability and efficiency.
